Increases in membership strengthen AllJoyn framework

BARCELONA, MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2016–February 22, 2016–The AllSeen Alliance, a Linux Foundation cross-industry collaboration to advance the Internet of Things through the AllJoyn® open source software project, announced eight new members today at Mobile World Congress.

New members include Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, Domotz, Enphase Energy, General Mobile Corporation, iST, Onbiron, Online Trust Alliance and y8studio.

These contributors will work with the AllSeen community, the world’s largest open source IoT collaboration, to advance the AllJoyn technology. Recognized for its ability to seamlessly allow devices and apps to discover and talk to one another, AllJoyn enables the full potential of the IoT. Members of the AllSeen Alliance bring together knowledge and technical resources to advance this technology for all.
